As the Literature Hotel am Main, we've given several of our rooms a literary dedication — designed with the respective author in mind, with books and small details that invite rediscovery. If you like, you'll find something to read in the morning that you might not otherwise have picked up.

Dedicated to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, whose works — from "Faust" to the "West-Eastern Divan" — sit ready on the shelf.

Dedicated to Franz Kafka — a quiet retreat, fitting for an author who masterfully captured the quiet undertones of life.

Dedicated to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and his "Little Prince" — also our Family Room, with books in various languages.

Other author rooms in the house are dedicated to, among others, John Strelecky, Hermann Hesse, Annette von Droste-Hülshoff and Walter Gropius. The author rooms are part of our regular room categories — just ask when booking which literary rooms are currently available.
