Art here isn't a coincidence on the wall — it's part of the concept, collected over decades and spread throughout the house: in the public areas as much as in the guest rooms, alongside designer furniture and many small details.
Rotating exhibitions in the breakfast room
Since 2025, we've displayed rotating exhibitions by regional artists in our breakfast room — free of charge and open to all guests. Past guests have included Walter Bausenwein, Kathrin Feser and painter Elisabeth Maseizik; Gabi Weinkauf is currently showing her work. At the end of each exhibition, one of the artworks stays in the house for guests to continue admiring. The works in the current exhibition are also available for purchase.
Artist rooms in the making
We're planning to introduce artist rooms among our themed rooms in future: the works of exhibiting artists will remain hanging permanently even after the rotating exhibition ends — available for purchase. That way, you can essentially "test sleep" with an artwork and its atmosphere before deciding to buy it.
Vernissage
For every new exhibition, we host a small, free vernissage — an occasion for artists and our guests to meet. Members of our Literature Club are the first to hear about a new exhibition opening.
Also literary: the author rooms
Alongside the artist rooms, the house also has literary author rooms dedicated to great writers.
