Right in Veitshöchheim, just a few minutes' walk from Hotel am Main, lies the Rococo Garden of the former summer residence of the Würzburg prince-bishops.
A garden from another time
Amid baroque fountains, hundreds of sandstone figures and beautifully trimmed hedges, it's a wonderful place to spend a quiet afternoon — without the bustle you might expect in a bigger city. The Rococo palace itself, with its distinctive yellow façade, stands at the edge of the park and is open to visitors from spring to autumn.

The Rococo Garden isn't a place to rush through, but a place to settle into: a walk along its paths, an ice cream at nearby Eis Stephan or Escavinum, an afternoon with a book in tow.
